Recipe - Jerry & Marilane's Rum Balls
This recipe was given to us by Jerry and Marilane Dusterhoff. This is an annual favorite of ours that they make for friends and family.
Makes 120-150 candies
Ingredients
Dry
- 1 box vanilla wafers crushed
- 3 cups 10X powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 1/2 cup pecans
Liquid
- 1/2 cup light karo syrup
- 1/2 cup dark rum
Process
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add liquid ingredients and mix until moistened
- Make walnut size balls and roll in powdered sugar
