Recipe - Chili sin Carne
First introduced at Starmount Chili Cook-Off in 2015. Won third place prize, defeating animal-based chili!

Ingredients
- 24 oz Textured Vegetable Protein
- 30 fl. oz Organic Tomato Sauce
- 32 fl. oz Vegetable broth
- Olive Oil
- Chili Powder
- Cayenne Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Cumin
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 2x Jalapeno Peppers (floating)
- 2x Serrano Peppers (floating)
Process
- Brown TVP in non-stick pan with olive oil
- Transfer to crock pot
- Add tomato sauce and vegetable broth
- Add a little more olive oil
- First dump: chili powder, cayenne powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, pepper
- Float peppers
- Cook on high for 3 hours
- Second dump: chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, pepper
- Add additional salt or cayenne to taste
- Cook on high for 2 hours
- Remove peppers just before serving
